“ This place is definitely a hidden gem. The food was generously portioned and very delicious. Staff was extremely friendly with prompt service. I couldn't think of single thing to complain about. Plus, it's right along the street car line. I definitely recommend trying this out if you're in the mood for Mexican cuisine. ”
“ I really like the Superior Grille on Saint Charles Avenue. The food is always fresh and comes with great chips and salsa. The service people are friendly and go out of their way to be accommodating. I also like the lively atmosphere and the Mexican music in the background. I have always had a great meal here. ”
“ The food was amazing. The meat in the tacos was to die for. The atmosphere was top notch. We had two bartenders that were absolutely great at their job, Justin and Sophia. They had another guy behind the bar too that didn't seem to really do anything, Alex. He just kinda stood around and looked lost. I asked him for some salt. I'm still waiting. Shame. ”
“ The chicken and steak in our meals were beautifully seasoned. All of our food arrived hot and quite quickly. Portions were huge. Our server was friendly, cheerful, and attentive. I was very happy with the large open windows/doors that allowed for indoor patio seating. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I look forward to returning. ”
“ It’s a delicious Mexican food we have had for a long time. The place is to find it is at the corner Amelia and St Charles . Can’t wait to come back with more family members. ”
“ To be honest, I probably should've taken more pictures but there were so many people in the restaurant, my introverted self could not but I did take the most important ones though and that is the food. We got ourselves a chicken quesadilla, a classic dish and some Diablo Tacos, it sounded like it was something spicy but it wasn't really all that, more like sweet and sour instead of the spicy but no problem, I was into the salsa and chips they gave us. Service was nice, mexican restaurants are always on the top of my list and there used to be another Superior Grill near Hwy 280 in Hoover, Alabama. However they shut that down for some reason because maybe this restaurant is only a Louisiana exclusive, who knows for sure ”
“ We've eaten here several times and it's always good. Food comes out fast, service is good as well as the atmosphere. We ate on the patio and it was very pleasant. Evening and weather was perfect for it. My husband and I ordered the sampler platter to share. Lots of food and a little bit of everything to allow you a taste. Got a couple of cold beers and really couldn't ask for anything more! Superior Grill is a place we keep coming back to!! ”
